Meeting at Second City Andy Wong and Matt Ardill cut their teeth on the John Candy Box Theatre stage together getting the taste of stand-up. After two years of pursuing their separate comedy endeavours they came together to start Far From Here Comedy and collaborate in creating new experiences.

Andy Wong collaborated to bring Stand Up Sit Down Comedy to zoom while Matt Ardill started his Comedians in Apartments Drinking Water show as well as facilitating coaching sessions for young comics with industry professionals. This led to two years of regular online and intermittent real life performances creating lasting relationships.

Andy Wong and Matt Ardill have joined forces to create a new production company bringing professional experiences with local and international talent to the stage. Their goal is to create a variety of experiences in and around the city and help create opportunities for comedians and audiences to find one another.
